If you plan to apply for different industries (e.g. Consumer Packaged Goods vs Hospitality) or different positions within the same industry (e.g. Project Management vs. Software Engineering) there are different ATS words and different data points that align with these items. One resume cannot be utilized (with success) to apply for multiple positions or multiple industries.

Unfortunately, no. All our writers have been in this space for a long time, and we know what works – a classic, clean resume template that focuses on ATS optimization, data, and results. We have a very small subset of templates that we utilize, and we are unable to provide customization for your specific needs. Working with us means working with the templates we have, which you can see above in the samples.

Please remember that you are hiring us for our expertise. We will tell you what you need to include and should not include. As you are the customer, we will put anything you want in the resume. However, our clients who ignore the advice of our writers have significantly worse resume outcomes than those who heed our advice.

You will receive your resume in a Microsoft Word format so that you can continue editing or changing items long after we part ways. We can also send you it in a .pdf version if you are unsure how to do that yourself. We do not utilize Google Docs. If you choose to convert your resume to Google Docs we will be unable to guarantee the formatting changes and will not be able to work in the document with you. If you do not have access to Microsoft Word or a comparable emulator, please speak with your writer and we will provide you guidance on how to respond to feedback.

Your package includes a 2 page resume which is what we recommend to 95% of clients if your experience and data dictates it. We will do 1 page resumes for clients that have less experience. However, we will not do resumes longer than 2 pages.

Ryan actually helped conduct one of the major research studies that found that 2 page resumes are greatly preferred by hiring managers, particularly in college-degree requiring positions, so long as the applicant has at least some professional experience and it is not fluff.

We offer refunds on unused services for up to 30 days. Once your writer begins writing your resume or you have completed your introductory call, our packages are no longer refundable. All “Expedited” resumes are non-refundable the moment they are purchased.

Yes, but only before work has begun on your resume. After that time, you will need to pay full price for any add-ons and will be ineligible for the package discounts.
